The G.V.T. was opened in 1872, but like other narrow gauge lines in the UK had a relatively short life, closing in 1935. The original coaches were built by the Midland Railway Carriage and Wagon Co. Ltd., Shrewsbury in the 1890s, surviving until the end.
The models include some lovely detail, such as the running boards and interiors, and the simple but attractive livery is neatly printed. Complete with standard OO-9 couplers and free-running wheels these ready-to-run models are ready-to-go!
